Mary Ethel Griner Simpson
Graveside services for Mary Ethel Griner Simpson, 77, Meigs, are at 11 a.m., 
Thursday, June 5, 2003 at Zion Grove Assembly of God Church cemetery. The Rev. 
Mark Griffis and the Rev. Curtis McCollough will officiate. Mrs. Simpson died 
June 3 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, Fla. Born Sept. 5, 
1925 in Colquitt County, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Onie Borders 
Griner and Gordon Benjamin Griner. She was married to Aubrey Lee Simpson who 
preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Grove Assembly 
of God Church. Survivors include brothers, Odell Griner of Meigs, Glynn Griner 
of Meigs, Jerry Griner of Thomasville, Ray Griner of Savannah, Donnie Griner 
of Meigs; sisters, Geneva G. Loyd of Meigs; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward Griner, Hayward Griner and 
Willard Griner. The family will receive friends at the Simpson residence at 
(address deleted) Meigs after the service on Thursday morning. -- Cobb Funeral
