L. Leslie Lambert
Services for L. Leslie Lambert, 84, Climax, are at 3 p.m., June 11, 2003 at 
Climax United Methodist Church. Interment is in Antioch Baptist Church 
cemetery in Climax. Mr. Lambert died June 8 in Bainbridge. He ran a sawmill 
and logging company, a veteran having served in the U.S. Army during World War 
II and a member of Bainbridge VFW Post 4904 and American Legion Post 62. 
Survivors include sons, Wendell Lambert (and Lenell) of Climax, Danny Lambert 
(and Missy) of Climax, Ted Lambert and (and Linda) of Whigham, Freddie Lambert 
(and Heidi) of Climax, Tim Lambert (and Cindy) of Climax, Ben Lambert of 
Climax; a daughter, Karen Boyd of Shelbyville, Ind.; 18 grandchildren; six 
great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jewell Ouzts of Bainbridge. He was preceded 
in death by his wife, Mary Watts Lambert; sisters, Trudy Tillis and Pawnee 
Wilkerson; and a brother, Odes Lambert. -- Heritage Funeral Home
