Tuesday at his residence in Bold Springs after an illness of several days. Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. Thursday at Bold Springs Methodist Church, with the Rev. Cale, pastor, and the Rev. Jack Renau officiating. Burial will be in the Bold Springs cemetery, with Lewis Asbell, Clar- ence Asbell, Robert Asbell, Wesley Asbell, Wallace Halstead, Alvis Pendergast, Roscoe Stewart and James Atkinson serving as pall- bearers. Honary pallbearers will be emmett Drew, Hubert Maddox, Tom Aldridge, Henry Adams, J. R. Pendergast, J. C. Stewart, and Guy Crum. A native of Grady county, Mr. Asbell was born Aug 2, 1871. He was a member of Bold Springs Methodist Church. Surviving are three brothers, Monroe, Robert and Ben Asbell, all of Ochlocknee; and several neices and nephews.
