Moriah Baptist Church in Climax. The Rev. Leroy Edwards, pastor officiating, and interment is in McNair Cemetery in Decatur. Active pallbearers are Headley G. Donaldson Jr., Darrell Phillips Sr., Frank Francois, Levanda Robinson, Vernon Kelly Sr. and Deon Smiley. Mrs. Phillips died June 10. Born Nov. 17, 1919 in Decatur County, she was a daughter of the late Abraham and Larsenia Kelley. She was married to George Phillips who preceded her in death. She attended Decatur County public schools and was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Climax. Survivors include daughters, Trudy Robinson of St. Petersburg, Fla., Larsenia (Headley) Donaldson of Orlando, Fla., Lucille (Rev. Leroy) Edwards of St. Petersburg; sisters, Leona George of Miami, Fla., Beulah Smith of Sanford, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; mother-in-law, Annabell Haywood of Albany; daughter-in-law, Mary Smiley of Calvary; brothers-in-law, Willie Frank (Veronica), Arthur Smith, Bennie Lee Mango, Larry Cleveland all of Pelham, Willie Sanders of Albany, Bobby Sanders of Bainbridge, Lucious Smith of Cairo; sister-in-law, Adele (Rayford) Jones of Meigs; a special nephew and niece, Sammie Joe and Lela Grant both of St. Petersburg; one godchild, Dr. Frederic Guerrier of St. Petersburg; and a host of great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends. -- Cloud & Son Funeral Home This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 2.0 Kb
