Floyd Howard Willis
Services for Floyd Howard Willis of Thomasville are at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 
21, 2003 at East Side Baptist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Tim 
Robson, the Rev. Joe Bryant and the Rev. Cham McMillen will officiate. 
Interment is in Salem Cemetery in Tift County. Pallbearers are Ken Willis, 
David Willis, Danny Willis, Steve Willis, Stan Willis and Deryl Willis. Mr. 
Willis died at his residence on June 18. The son of Dow and Minnie Lee Roberds 
Willis , he was born on Oct. 16,1921 in Tift County. He was married for 57 
years to Vivian Farlow Willis, who survives. Other survivors include sons and 
daughters-in-law, Kenny and Lil Willis of Tallahassee, Fla., Danny and Carol 
Willis and Stephen D. and Peggy Willis, all of Thomasville; sons, David B. 
Willis and Stanley D. Willis both of Thomasville; and a daughter, Beth W. 
Burke of Thomasville; a brother, R. G. Willis of Barwick; and two sisters, 
Bunny Greene and Grace Green, both of Pinehurst, N.C.; nine grandchildren and 
three great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Help Ministries, 1118 N. 
Parsons Ave., Brandon, Fla. 33510. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 
p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Friends may sign the on-line guest registry
