Obituaries for Mrs. Ethel Cobb Lundy
born Jul 29, 1895 in Ashburn GA
daughter of Mary Ross Cobb and William Jackson Cobb of Boston.
Married William Elmo Lundy of Sylvester July 23, 1916.
Survivors include husband W. E. Lundy, 3 daughters Mary Lundy, Mrs. Marvin B. 
Perkins, Mrs. Joe T. Futch; two sons Charles R. Lundy, Erman C. Lundy; her 
mother Mrs. W. J. Cobb; two sisters Mrs. Ben H. Stone, Mrs. Oscar T. Cook; two 
brothers A. J. Cobb and William E. Cobb
Burial in Boston Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
I came across the Funeral Registry Book for Mrs. Ethel Cobb Lundy who died in 
1948.  I could not believe it had been thrown away.  There is a complete list 
of all those attending, both friends and relatives.  There is a listing of all 
visitors and those bringing food, etc. as well as list of all 59 floral 
tributes & who sent them, and a full description of each. It also has an 
envelope in the back which had the attached photograph and the negative as 
well. It also and the attached obituaries, original telegrams of condolences 
and a wedding announcement of one of her daughters.  

Also, I have a diploma for her son Raymond Lundy when he graduated from Boston 
High School in 1934.  It is signed by H. A. Vann, C. W. Bell, D. O. Morrison? 
and D. Roy Adams.
