E. Copeland, 1st decree 4-17-33 Mrs. Lettie J. Brandon vs David Laughlin Brandon. 1st decree 1-21-41 Mavis Posey Davis versus Oscar Davis, Jr. 1st decree 1 -20- 41 Mary Katherine Crawford versus J. J. Crawford, Jr. 1st decree 1-20-41 Mrs. Ivey H. Hinkle versus Norman B. Hinkle, 1st decree 1-20-41 Eli Spring versus Ida Spring, 1st decree 1-20-41 Mrs. Cleo D. Lancaster vs Allie K. Lancaster, 1st decree 1-20-41 Mildred B. Cates vs J. Frank Cates, 1st decree 1-20-31 The following first decrees were granted by court action: Mrs. Edyce Paulk vs Thomas Milton Paulk. Mrs. Modena Strobel vs Frank A. Strobel. Ida Plymel Jones vs Frank Jones. Mrs. Jean Dawes Crosby vs James Crosby. Mrs. Vera H. Carter vs William Clinton Carter. Mrs. Ruth Hodges Kenzie versus Edward C. Kenzie. Diana Blake Edwards vs Joe M. Edwards, Jr. In the suit tried yesterday of Mrs. S. Barden versus G. H. Greene a verdict was given for the plaintiff in the sum of $44.05 same being designated as usurious interest. In the case of E. C. Philips versus V. C. Callaway pleas for eviction was denied but plaintiff was granted $250 rent. A petition was presented to the court for dissolution of the Chinquapin Farms, Inc. Same was asked by all of the stockholders now of record. The firm owns much of the former Archbold Plantation and estate lands in Thomas county. The owners will form a partnership.
