  Robert Leon Harper,  60, of Tifton passed away Friday, March 20, 2015, at his 
sister's home in Nashville.
 He was born October 8, 1954, in Tift County, the son of Myra Lee Brooks Harper 
of Sumner and the late Charles Harper. In addition to his father, he was 
preceded in death by a sister, Linda Peavey.
 Survivors, in addition to his mother, include a son and daughter-in-law, 
Charles Robert and Laura Harper of Durham, N.C; one sister, Dorothy Taylor of 
Nashville; and two grandchildren, Brody Harper and Garrett Harper.
 Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 at Liberty Baptist 
Church in Tifton with Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating.
 Interment was in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were J.L. Taylor, Christopher Enslow, Robert Trowell, Dale Harper, 
Jody Lokey and Josh Taylor.
 In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of Tiftarea, P.O. Box 
747, Tift, GA 31793.
 Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals was in charge of arrangements.
