Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Elder Maurice Riner and Elder John S. Mikell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Joe Hilton, Steve Hogan, Milton Rousey, David Clements, Freddie Cheek and Roger Walker. Nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers. Mr. Hilton was born May 23, 1928, in Irwin County and was the son of O. R. Hilton and Georgia Ann Roberts Hilton, both deceased. He was a farmer and a school bus driver and had lived in Tift County for 58 years. Mr. Hilton is survived by his wife, Jean Clements Hilton of Tifton; three sons, Thomas L. Hilton of Irwin County, Dicky W. Hilton of Tifton and Charlie R. Hilton of Tifton; three brothers, Pat Hilton of Loganville, Johnny Hilton of Johnson City, Tenn., and Hal Hilton of Irwin County; three sisters, Polly Scott of Lumber City, Lanell Hinkle of Nashville and Betty June Bradford of Loganville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
