Ogletree, 59, of Route 5, Tifton, died at her home at 11 p.m. Wed. April 23. Funeral services will be held at New River Baptist Church at a time to be announced by Bowen-Donaldson. Burial will be in Tifton Cemetery and the Rev. L. B. Allen will officiate. Mrs. Ogletree was born July 6, 1898, in Clay County, Ala., the daughter of S. E. and Docia Robertson Avery. She was a member of New River Church and had been living in Tift County for about 14 years, coming here from Alabama. Survivors include her husband. Seaborn W. Ogletree; three sons, Durwood A. Ogletree of Panama Canal Zone, and Thomas Julian and Gerald W. Ogletree, both of Tifton; three brothers, Earl Avery of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Harold Avery of Ashland, Ala., and George Avery of Alexander City, Ala., three sisters, Mrs. Theo McCall of Childersburg, Ala., and Mrs. Ruby Speaks and Mrs. Mary Bush, both of Alexander City; and two grandchildren. One daughter and two sons preceded her in death.
