Riner Died Wednesday Morning Rufus Deen Riner, fifty-six years old, died Wednesday morning at five o'clock at the family home on the Gibbs place on the Lower Ty Ty Road, one mile west of Tifton. Mr. Riner suffered a stroke at 1:30 and died at five o'clock. Funeral services will be held from the Tifton Primitive Baptist Church at ten o'clock Thursday morning and interment will be in the Tifton cemetery. The body was prepared for burial at Bowen's Funeral Home and taken to the home of D. M. Scott, 910 South Park Avenue, where it will remain until time for the funeral Thursday morning. Mr. Riner was born July 19, 1879. He had made his home at Tifton for many years and was engaged in different lines of business here. He had a great host of friends who will regret to learn of his death and join in sympathy to the family. Mr. Riner is survived by his wife, three daughters and three sons; Mrs. M. J. Perkins, Whigham; Annie Lou, Geneva, Claire, Lynwood E., Gerald D., and Ronald Deen Riner of Tifton. Two sisters and three brothers also survive; Mrs. Mae Etta Riner and J. Nat Riner, Wrightsville; Mrs. D. Z. Tyson and J.D. Riner, Meeks; Leon A. Riner, Adrian.
