ADEL, Ga. - Rocky Neal Thompson Sr., 55, of Adel, Ga. died Wednesday, June 6, 
2007, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Adel United Methodist 
Church with the Revs. Larry Land and O.L. Stokes officiating. Burial will 
follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Annex.

Born April 8, 1952, in Tift Co., he lived in Cook County for the past 20 years. 
He was a farmer and in agribusiness.

He was preceded in death by a son, Neal Thompson Jr.; and a nephew, Andrew 
Thompson.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Fresh Thompson of Adel, Ga.; three daughters, 
Jeannie Paulk and husband Mark of Adel, Ga., Cassie Wallace and husband Travis 
of Fuquay Varina, N.C., and Haley Thompson of Adel, Ga.; his parents, Grady M. 
Sr. and Jean Connell Thompson of Tifton, Ga.; six brothers, Grady Thompson Jr. 
of Tifton, Ga., Melvin Thompson of Tifton, Ga., Danny Thompson of Tifton, Ga., 
Jimmy Thompson of Norman Park, Jack Thompson of Tifton, Ga., and Clyde Thompson 
of Tifton, Ga.; two sisters, Martha Flohe of Gatlinburg, Tenn., and Ginger 
Jordan of Tifton, Ga.; and two granddaughters, Harley and Ansley Paulk of Adel, 
Ga.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Boone-Lipsey
Funeral Home Hwy. 41 South.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Neal Thompson
Scholarship Fund c/o Cook Community Bank, 206 E. Fourth St., Adel, Ga. 31620 or
Adel Methodist Church, 214 S. Hutchinson Ave., Adel, Ga. 31620.
