Mr. Foskey died at about 8:00am after receiving emergency treatment at Meadows Memorial Hospital and then being transported to Memorial Medical Center by Lifestar Helicopter. Lyons Police Chief, Joel Joyner, reported that an argument developed between Jimmy Foskey and a cousin, Glen Foskey. The men were in the parking lot at Kerrigan's. Kerrigan's is a poplar night spot located on highway 280 just inside the western city limits of Lyons. As a result of the altercation, Jimmy Foskey was shot one time in the right shoulder with a .38 caliber revolver. Glen Foskey, age 31, of Vidalia has been charged with murder and is being held in the Lyons City Jail.
