He was employed with the City of Vidalia Street Dept. as a supervisor, was a native of Emanuel County, and had lived in Toombs County for 38 years. He was a son of Linda Foskey Coleman and the late John Henry Coleman, and was a member of First Assembly of God. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jean Williamson Coleman; one son, Stevie Coleman; his mother, Linda Foskey Coleman; one brother, Randall Coleman; one grandson, Brandon Ashley Coleman, all of Vidalia; three sisters, Bonnie Drury of Lyons, Ruby Lee Humphrey and Grace Cowart, both of Vidalia; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, May 11, 1994, 3:00pm, at First Assembly of God, with Rev. Michael Branson officiating. Burial was in Mount Shady Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Wayne Wickstrom, Jody Williamson, John Coleman, Wayne Mosley, Alan Humphrey, and Melvin Gillis. Honorary pallbearers were City of Vidalia employees.
