                          Mrs. Sallie Foskey
 Mrs. Sallie Wynn Foskey, 91, of Route 1 Uvalda, died at Meadows Memorial 
Hospital Saturday night after a long illness. She was the widow of George M. 
Foskey, had lived in Toombs County most of her life, and had been confined to 
a nursing home for several years. She was a Baptist.
 She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Eva Holloman, Macon and Mrs. Thelma 
Phillips, Uvalda; three sons, Allen and Ezra Foskey of Vidalia and John Foskey 
of Uvalda; three brothers, Tillman Wynn, Lyons, Lamar Wynn, Uvalda, and John 
Wynn, Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Ruthie Smith, Florida and Mrs. Martha Braddy, 
Macon; a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchilden, and several great-
great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Harden's 
Chapel Methodist Church with Rev. Kennedy Raley and Rev. Henry Dowd 
officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were  
grandsons: Wadys Foskey, Willard Phillips, Glenn Foskey, Ezra Foskey Jr., Greg 
Foskey, and Jeff Foskey.
 Trapnell-Jones Funeral Home of Lyons was in charge of arrangements.

Sallie was born 3-14-1891. Georgia death certificate #003012.
