                           Mrs. Lennie Foskey
 Mrs. Lennie Smith Foskey, age 95, Bethany Home, Vidalia, Ga., died Saturday, 
March 6, 1993 following an extended illness.
 The Toombs County native was the daughter of the late Arch and Julie Joyner 
Smith and the widow of James Arthur Foskey and had lived in Montgomery County 
most of ther life. She was a homemaker and the oldest member of Alston Baptist 
Church.
 Mrs. Foskey is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Altine Burke, Hardeville, SC; 
two sons, Barnard Foskey, Uvalda and Dorman Foskey, Newnan, Ga.; three 
sisters, Mrs. Minnie Morris, Lyons, Mrs. Mittie NeSmith, Lyons, and Mrs. Vera 
Clifton, Uvalda; 12 grandchilden; 15 great-grandchldren; 3 great-great-
grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services for Mrs. Foskey were held in the Smyrna United Methodist 
Church on Sunday, March 7, 1993 at 3:00pm with the Rev. David Aycock 
officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Murchison Funeral Home of 
Vidalia was in charge of funeral arrangements.
 Active pallbearers were Randall Foskey, Hal Foskey, Lee Foskey, Johnny Wayne 
Foskey, Mason Moore, and Jimmy Foskey.

Lennie was born 8-4-1898. Georgia death certificate #010307.
