                   George Foskey, 65, Passes In Vidalia
 George Foskey, 65, of Route 1 Uvalda, died Wednesday at Conner-Bedingfield 
Clinic after a brief illness.
 He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sallie Wynn Foskey of Uvalda; six sons, 
Allen and Esery Foskey, Higgston, John, Dennis, Gene, and Limon Foskey of 
Uvalda. ; two daughters, Mrs. Guy Holloman of Macon and Mrs. Alton Phillips of 
Uvalda; 34 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Rufus and 
Arthur Foskey of Uvalda, Emory Foskey of Vidalia, and Herbert Foskey of 
Savannah; and three sisters, Mrs, Mary Jane Tapley of Uvalda, Mrs. Floyd 
Parrish of Lyons, and Mrs. Bessie Davis of Savannah.
 Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 4pm from the Harden's Chapel 
Methodist Church by the Rev. M. A. Lowery assisted by the Rev. E. Curtis. 
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

George was born 7-17-1898 to John Robert Foskey and Mary Etta Davis Foskey.
