                          Mrs. Jackie Foskey
 Mrs. Jackie Chambers Foskey, age 37, of Route 1, Uvalda, "McNatt Falls 
Community", died early Friday morning at her residence after a long illness. 
Jackie was a native of Toombs County, had resided in Apopka, Fla. for 15 
years, returning to Uvalda in 1965.
 She was a licensed practical nurse and was employed by Dr.s Smith & Barber of 
Vidalia. She was a member of Smyrna United Methodist Church where she sang in 
the choir and was a member of the Ladies Club.
 Mrs. Foskey is survived by her husband, Greg Foskey of Uvalda; one son, Jack 
Foskey of Uvalda; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Chambers of Uvalda; one 
sister, Mrs. Glenda NeSmith of Uvalda; one brother, Arthur Chambers of Uvalda; 
and several cousins, aunts, uncles, neices, and nephews.
 Funeral services for Mrs. Foskey were held Sunday afternoon, June 19, 1988 at 
4:00 from the Smyrna United Methodist Church near Uvalda with the pastor, Rev. 
Martin Leggett and Dr. Ronnie Smith officiating. Interment was in the church 
cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were Jerry Sowell, Larry Powell, Bernard Foskey, George 
Davis, Buddy Mosely, and Randy Mosley. Honorary pallbearers were the Nursing 
staff of Dr.s Smith and Barber and other nursing associates. Ronnie L. Stewart 
Funeral Home of Vidalia was in charge of funeral arrangements.
