The native of Montgomery County had resided most of her life in Gray moving to Vidalia five years ago. She was a retired inspector with the Dickie Company, Macon, and a member of the Eastern Star. Survivors include one son, Willie Frank Smith, Lake Sinclair; two daughters, Lillian Medders, Macon and Betty Daley, Orlando, Florida; one sister, Carolyn O'Neal, Lyons; three brothers, Henry Fulford, Alston, Dewitt Fulford, Palatka, Florida, and Thurston Fulford, Lyons; eight grandchildren; and eight great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 1, 1998 at 3:00PM in the Ronnie L. Stewart and Son Funeral Service Chapel, Vidalia, with the Reverend David Mosely and the Reverend Henry Dowd officiating. Interment followed in the Pinecrest Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harold Powell, Curtis Willis, Terral Fulford, W. L. Beasley, Larry Fulford, Delton Bridges, and Tim Sassnett.
