                       Mrs. Naomi Godbee
 Mrs. Naomi Tyson Clark Godbee, age 64, of Rt. 4 Lyons, died at her home 
Saturday after a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of Toombs County, 
retired from the Lyons Mfg. Co., and a Baptist. She was the widow of Jay 
Godbee.
 Surviving are two sons, Danny Clark, Houma, La. and Doyle Clark, Lyons; three 
brothers, Bernice Tyson, Little Rock, Ark., Henry and Earl Tyson, Lyons; three 
sisters, Mae Thompson, Jeanette Galbraith and Lula Bell Thigpen, all of Lyons; 
eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in the Cooper 
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. R. F. Farries officiating. Interment was in the 
Ohoopee Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Dwayne Burton, Daniel Mathews, Phillip Gordy, Tim Tyson, 
Ronnie Bowen, and Tracy Burton. Honorary pallbearers were E. C. Hutchison, 
John Jeffers, Gedeon Spivey, Adrey Dickey, Hilbert Toole, and Jesse Jackson. 
Cooper Funeral Home of Lyons was in charge of arrangements.

Naomi was born 18 May 1924 to Carswell Leland Tyson and Daisy Marie Anderson 
Tyson. Georgia death certificate #030828.
