Hester Mrs. Myrtice Inez Hester, 49, of Bloomingdale died yesterday en route to Candler Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Toombs County, she had lived in Chatham County for the last 22 years. She was a member of the English Eddy Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband, Ralph L. Hester; four daughters, Mrs. Hilda Jordan of Savannah Beach, Mrs. June Barnett of Savannah, Miss Edna Hester and Miss Ann Hester, both of Bloomingdale; a son, Roger Page of Melbourne, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. B. B. DeLoach of Savannah and Mrs. C. J. Stanley of Lyons; four brothers, Tess Tyson and R. M. Tyson of Lyons, and R. W. Tyson and Glenn Tyson of Mims, Fla. Fountain Funeral Home of Port Wentworth is in charge. Additional Comments: Myrtice was born 5 Feb 1913 to John Noah Tyson and Ora Ann Higgs Tyson. Georgia death certificate #15669. She is buried at English Eddy Church Cemetery in Toombs County.
