He was a veteran of World War I, a retired barber, and a member of the Collins Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. He had lived in Waycross for the past 14 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lavata Roland Hutcheson of Waycross; three daughters, Mrs. Uldine Sasser of Vidalia, Mrs. Corine Higgs of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. Lucille Soidel of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. George Corley of Stewart, Fla. and Mrs. Roy Lynn of Marietta; four brothers, Hampie Hutcheson of Stone Mountain, Lawrence Hutcheson of Alma, Carlie Hutcheson of Baxley, and Kerney Hutcheson of Lyons; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were to be held at 11am today at the Cooper Funeral Home in Lyons. Additional Comments: Clarence was born 3 Jan 1895 to Henry N. Hitcheson and Alice May Jones Hutcheson.
