                      Rocky Creek Rites For Mrs. McGahee
 Mrs. Addie Mae McDaniel McGahee, 60, widow of the late Randall Jack McGahee, 
died Saturday morning in the Laurens County Hospital, in Dublin, following a 
brief illness. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church and had resided 
in Lyons and Vidalia during the past 12 years. She was a native of Emanuel 
County.
 Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Rocky Creek Baptist 
Church with the Rev. Carl Knowles and the Rev. Paul Edenfield officiating. 
Interment was in the Lyons Cemetery with Cooper Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements.
 Pallbearers were: L. J. Ussery, Bishop Ussery, Hugh Jones, Johnny Coleman, 
Wallace Wiggins, Vernon DeLoach, Floyd Thomas, Jimmy Motes. Honorary 
pallbearers were: Jones McLendon, Arlie Faulk, Oliver Ussery, C. C. Faircloth, 
J. L. Mathews, Leon Ansley, Wayne and Tal Fuqua, and Junior Cooper.
 Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Nell Ussery of Dublin and Mrs. 
Ester Inez Faircloth of Warner Robins; six sons, James McGahee of Sarasota, 
Fla., Olan McGahee of Lyons, Hubert McGahee of Dublin, Henry McGahee of 
Statesboro; two sisters, Mrs. Belle White of Fernandina, Fla. and Mrs. Lula 
Green of Metter; one brother, Tommy McDaniel of West Palm Beach, Fla.; 21 
grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Additional Comments:
 Addie Mae was born 7-17-1909 to Joseph S. McDaniel and Mary 
Elizabeth "Lizzie" Foskey McDaniel Drake. Georgia death certificate #001676.
