                              Mrs. F. F. Parrish, 81, Passed Away
 Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia Bell Parrish, 81, of Homerville, were held 
Sunday afternoon, four o'clock, from Harden's Chapel Methodist Church, Lyons, 
Ga., with interment in the church cemetery. Officiating were Rev. Hansel 
Palmer and Rev. Raymond Cason of Homerville.
 Mrs. Parrish was the widow of the late Foster Floyd Parrish of Lyons who 
passed away in 1961. She was a native of Montgomery County and had lived in 
Homerville for the past four years. She passed away last Thursday in Clinch 
Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
 Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Fred Toole of Lyons and Mrs. Lawton 
Allen of Homerville; three sons, James W. Parrish, Clyde Parrish, and Virgil 
Parrish, all of Homerville; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Dickerson of Savannah; 
four brothers, Arthur Foskey and Rufus Foskey of Uvalda, Herbert Foskey of 
Savannah, and Emory Foskey of Vidalia; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-
grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
 At the funeral, active pallbearers were Messrs. Jimmy Parrish, Terry Allen, 
Hubert Tapley, Brenard Foskey, Kendall Foskey, Allen Foskey; Honorary were 
Messrs. Lige Gay, Douglas Gay, Bennie Parker, A. L. Powell, Walton Toole, W. 
A. Collins, Edison Ganey and Wilmer Rollins. Cooper Funeral Home of Lyons was 
in charge.

Additional Comments:
Her parents were John R. Foskey, buried in the Brickyard Cemetery in Chatham 
County, Georgia and Mary Jane Davis Foskey.
