                       ROFF WILLIAM TYSON
MR. ROFF WILLIAM TYSON, 46, Route 2 Sanford, died Saturday.
Born in Toombs County, Ga., he came to Sanford in 1960. He was a member of the 
Elder Springs Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II, and a farmer.
Survivors: widow, Sallie; sons, Roger, Michael, Vaughn, and Gene; daughters, 
Mrs. Valda Welsh, Miss Wynona Tyson, Miss Teresa Tyson, Miss Dedra Tyson, and 
Miss Tammy Tyson, all of Sanford; brothers, Glenn, Apopka, Robert, Lyons, Ga., 
Thurston, Savannah, Ga.; sisters, Mrs. Esther Stanley, Lyons, Mrs. Alice 
DeLoach, Savannah; mother, Mrs. Ora Tyson, Lyons.
Gramkow Funeral Home, Sanford, in charge.

The funeral notice also appeared that day as follows:
TYSON, MR. ROFF WILLIAM – Funeral services, for Mr. Roff William Tyson, 46, 
Sanford, who died Saturday will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Gramkow 
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. B. H. Griffin officiating. Interment will 
follow in the Oaklawn Memorial Park, Sanford. Gramkow Funeral Home, Sanford, 
in charge of arrangements

NOTE-This obituary is copied as it appeared in the paper. The name should be 
Ross, not Roff.

Ross was born 21 May 1921 to John Noah Tyson and Ora Ann Higgs Tyson.
