He was a native of Toombs County,a retired farmer, and a member of the Higgston Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rosie W. Tyson of Vidalia; four sons, Jack Tyson of Vidalia, Charles Tyson of Jacksonville, Fla., Ralph Tyson of Waycross, and Hugh G. Tyson of Vero Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Robie Womack of Aiken, SC and Mrs. Curtis Spivey of Vidalia; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3pm today at Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Home with burial in Pinecrest Cemetery. Additional Comments: Hardy was born 11 Sep 1903 to John Tyson and Virginia ""Jennie" Moxley Tyson. Georgia death certificate #041241. His first wife was Naomie Mixon Tyson. His second wife was Eva Duffield Tyson, and his last wife was Rosie M. West Tyson.
