David Noah Williams, 74, of Lyons, died at his home early Tuesday morning. Born in Tattnall County, he had lived in this section all of his life. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the New Branch Methodist Church. Funeral services were conducted from the Harden's Chapel Methodist Church. Interment was in the church cemetery, with Trapnell-Jones Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucille Snow Williams of Lyons; four daughters, Mrs. Allen Foskey and Mrs. Ezra Foskey, both of Vidalia, Mrs. Mavis Wells of Savannah, and Mrs. Annie Lou Pruett of Scottsdale, Ariz.; three sons, Milford Williams of Tampa, Fla., Arthur Williams of Mt. Vernon, Ill. and Donald Williams of Savannah; one brother, John Williams of Savannah; 39 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Additional Comments: David was born 17 Jul 1899 to Calvin Henry Williams and Vianna Tyson Williams. Georgia death certificate #016920. His first wife was Denia "Denier" Odom Williams who is also buried at Harden's Chapel.
