Hedden

Mr. Fred Hedden, age 84, of Hiawassee, Ga., died Thursday evening. He is 
survived by his wife, Mrs Pearl Dyer Hedden; 2 daughters, Mrs. Glenda 
Steinmeyer of Barnwell, S.C.; Mrs. Margie Ballard, Marietta, Ga.; 4 
grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren also survived.

Funeral services will be held at the McConnell Memorial Baptist Church Sunday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock. The remains will lie in state for 1 hour. Rev. Jack 
Richardson officiating. Interment in the Osborn Cemetery. Frank Abernathy 
Funeral Home, Hiawassee, in charge of funeral arrangements.

d. 17 April 1969 in Barnwell County, South Carolina while visiting his 
daughter Glenda Hedden Steinmeyer.
