He was born April 6, 1898, to John H. and Jane Bradshaw Bailey. He married Isabelle Stanton Dec. 11, 1918 in Hyrum. This marriage later was soleminized in the Logan LDS Temple. She died April 18, 1967. He then married Sara Lee Williamson. Mr. Bailey was educated in Cache schools and was retired from Morning Milk after 33 years of service. He also had done some ranching. An active member of the LDS Church, he had served as a home teacher, temple worker, and as a member of Wellsville 1st Ward Choir. He was a High Priest in the Logan 1st Ward at the time of his death. Mr. Bailey also had served a stake mission. Surviving are his wife of Loganl five sons and one daughter, Rulon S. Bailey, Palos Verdes, Calif.; John Homer S. Bailey, Wellsville; Jerold S. Bailey, Sunset; Mrs. Merrill R. (Ellen) Page and Darrell S. Bailey, both of Logan; and Dallas Lon S. Bailey, Roy; 26 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 brother and 1 sister, Leslie Bailey, Wellsville and Mrs. James (Dorothy) Nagle, Long Beach, Calif. A son, Lynn S. Bailey, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be conducted Monday noon in the Wellsville Tabernacle, with Bishop J. Wesley Norton of Logan 1st Ward in charge. Friends may call at the Hall Mortuary tonight from 7 to 9 and Monday from 10:30 to 11:30am. Burial will be in the Wellsville City Cemetery.
