                       Ernest Leon Barwick
 Ernest Leon Barwick, 59 Soperton, died in a Dublin hospital Saturday night, 
January 4.
 Mr. Barwick was a lifetime resident of Soperton and was a son of the late Jim 
Barwick and the late Mrs. Zona Brantley Barwick Gray.
 Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nita Hutcheson Barwick; two sons, Jerry 
Barwick, Soperton and Murray Barwick, Vidalia; one daughter, Miss Faye 
Barwick, Dublin; one sister, Mrs. W. D. Gibson, DeBarry, Fla.
 Funeral services were conducted from the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 3 
o'clock Monday afternoon, January 6, with the Rev. George Holton officiating. 
Burial was in the Hutcheson Family Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Hugh Gillis Jr., Jim L. Gillis Jr., R. E. Miller, Elvin 
Young, horace Harrell, and Marcus Simons.
 The Honorary escort was composed of members of the Woodmen of the World.
