The Rev. Ronnie Powell and the Rev. Felton Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Bethsada Primitive Baptist Church in Treutlen County. A native of Treutlen County, Mr. Beasley was the son of the late W. C. and Nancy Foskey Beasley. A resident of East Dublin for the past 27 years, he was retired from Shamrock Pants Factory and was a member of East Dublin Baptist Church. Mr. Beasley died Wednesday at his residence after an extended illness. Survivors include his wife, Lucile W. Beasley of Dublin; six daughters, Myrtle Hall of East Dublin, Wynelle Barwick of Union City, Flora Mae (Duck) Lumley of East Dublin, Betty Bergamy of Anchorage, Alaska, Sara Lumley of The Rock, Zebulon, and Margaret Crabb of Dublin; a son, W. C. Beasley of Hampton; a half brother, Virgil Norris Sr. of Soperton; 24 grandchildren; and 26 great- grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Wally Tanner, Kim Stuckey, Larry Tanner, Charles Warnock, Jerry Drew, and Buddy Kennedy. The family will be at the home of Flora Mae (Duck) Lumley and will receive friends at 7 tonight at Stanley Funeral Home in Dublin. Additional Comments: George was born 6-6-1906.
