                     Elmo Canady
 Elmo Canady, 65, Soperton died in Augusta Friday, September 10.
 Mr. Canady was born in Montgomery County and was a son of the late Lester 
Candy and the late Mrs. Effie Coleman Canady. He had been a resident of 
Treutlen County for 38 years and was a member of the Zaidee Advent Christain 
Church.
 Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eudene Canady; 1 sister, Mrs. Dan Waller, 
Reidsville; 1 brother, James Canady, Reidsville.
 Funeral services were conducted from the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 3 
o'clock Sunday afternoon, September 12 with the Rev. Sidney Dubois and the 
Rev. Sterling Bargeron officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Danny Waller, John Woods, Mike Canady, Jack West, Ronald 
Collins, and Drexel Canady.
