                         Mrs. Iona F. Davis
 Mrs. Iona F. Davis, 86, Soperton, died Sunday night, March 28, after an 
extended illness.
 Mrs. Davis was born and reared in Johnson County and had lived in Treutlen 
County for 25 years. She was a daughter of the late Curtis Foskey and the late 
Mrs. Missouri Mimbs Foskey and was married to the late Claude Boze Davis. She 
was a member of the Church of God of Latter Day Rain.
 Survivors include three sons, James Davis of Macon, Lamar Davis of Bell 
Glade, Fla., and Horace Davis of New Port, Tenn.; three daughters, Mrs. 
Jeanette Jones of Macon, Mrs. Emma Lee Brooker of West Palm Beach, Fla., and 
Mrs. Irene Thigpen of Soperton.
 Funeral services were conducted from the Soperton Church of God of Latter Day 
Rain at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, March 30, with the Rev. Robert Kight and 
the Rev. James Kight officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery with Sammons 
Funeral Home in charge.

Additional Comments:
Iona was born 1-16-1890. Her husband is also buried at Westview Cemetery.
