Mr. Foskey was a native of Johnson County and was a son of the late John Meredia Foskey and the late Mrs. Mary Etta Foskey. He was a Baptist and was retired from GFF in Soperton. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Rogers Foskey; a son, Ray Foskey of Soperton; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Griner of Soperton; five sisters, Mrs. Georgia Mae Wilson of Macon, Mrs. Leodias Evans of Springfield, Mrs. Lois Brantley of Soperton, Mrs. Clara Mae Mosley of Lyons,and Mrs. Cleo Collins of Tarrytown; three brothers, Edward Foskey of Adrian, Tommy Foskey of Swainsboro, and Rufus Foskey of Wrightsville; six grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. Services were held in the chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, May 27. The Rev. M. L. Barber officiated. Burial was in Red Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery near Soperton. Pallbearers were Bobby Cone, Leon Hester, James E. Hester, Robert Bridges, Billy Cone, and J. D. Selph. Additional Comments: Willis Earl was born 1-4-1926.
