(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net March 16, 2009, 6:52 am The Soperton News 1-12-1994 Page 6 Mrs. Eula Mae Foskey Mrs. Eula Mae Foskey, 83, of Route 2 Soperton, died at her home Friday night, January 7, after a long illness. A native of Wheeler County, Mrs. Foskey had lived in Treutlen County most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Bud Gillis and the late Miss Helen Gertrude Purvis Gillis and was married to the late Anglish E. Foskey. She was a member of the Rosemont Baptist Church, Treutlen County. Survivors include two sons, Frank and Steve Foskey, both of Soperton; three daughters, Mrs. Beulah Ray Strickland, Mrs. Judy Calhoun, and Miss Ruth Foskey, all of Soperton; 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, January 9, with the Rev. Felton Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Rosemont Baptist Church Cemetery, Treutlen County. Grandsons served as pallbearers. Additional Comments: Eula Mae was born 4-4-1910.
