Foskey, 82, Route 2 Soperton, died in a Dublin hospital Saturday, December 15, 1990. Mr. Foskey was a native of Treutlen County and was the son of the late Tom Foskey and the late Mrs. Inez Johnson Foskey. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Rosemont Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eula Mae Gillis Foskey; two sons, Frank Foskey of Soperton and Steve Foskey of Reidsville; three daughters, Mrs. Beulah Rae Strickland and Mrs. Judy Calhoun of Soperton, and Mrs. Ruth Smith of Alamo; two brothers, Joseph Foskey of Deland, Fla. and Thomas A. Foskey of Orange City, Fla.; six sisters, Mrs. Georgia Mae Craig, Mrs. Alberta Henley and Mrs. Alice Board, all of Deland, Fla., Mrs. Annie Davis of DeBary, Fla., Mrs. Estelle Wilkes of Barberville, Fla., and Mrs. Pearl Gibbs of Emporia, Fla.; 24 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren. Services were held in the chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon, Decemebr 17, with the Rev. Felton Johnson and the Rev. Royce Brad officiating. Burial was in Rosemont Baptist Church Cemetery. Grandsons Jimmy Foskey, Steve Strickland, Wayne Foskey, Mike Foskey, Buddy Strickland, Eddie Page, Leroy Harrielson, Benjie Calhoun, Jason Calhoun, and Wyman Foskey, served as active and honorary pallbearers.
