                     George Clifton Foskey
 George Clifton Foskey, 65, died at his home on Route 3 Soperton, Sunday 
morning, November 17, 1981.
 Mr. Foskey was a native of Treutlen County and was a son of the late Mrs. 
Hattie Foskey. He was married to the late Mrs. Evie Belle Hall Foskey. He was 
a retired employee of the J. P. Stevens Company.
 Survivors include three sons, Danny Foskey, Ricky Foskey, and Michael Foskey, 
all of Soperton; two sisters, Mrs. Virdie Etheridge of Macon and Mrs. Ollie 
Mae Driggers of Savannah; and five grandchildren.
 Services were held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral home at 11 o'clock 
Tuesday morning, November 19, with the Rev. Phil Wallace officiating. Burial 
was in Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Jimmy Glover, Drexel Braddy, Danny Sheperd, James B. Meeks 
Jr., James Ely, and James Norfleet.

NOTE--Typed as put in the paper. His death certificate lists his name as 
Clifton George Foskey.

Clifton was born 3-27-1926.
