From The Dublin Courier Herald 12-14-1948 Foskey Rites On Wednesday Final rites for Mrs. Renthey Foskey, 84, will be held Wednesday, Dec. 15, at three p.m. at Red Bluff Church and interment will take place in the Church Cemetery. Rev. Toll Thomas, of Rockledge, will officiate and Sammons Funeral Home will direct. Mrs. Foskey was born and reared in Montgomery County and had lived in Rockledge, Route 1, for 25 years. She died at her residence Tuesday after an illness of 11 months. She was a member of the Baptist Church and was married to the late Bud Foskey, who died in 1946. Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Sam Miller of Rockledge; one son, Jackson Collins, of Savannah; one brother, Charlie White, of Rockledge; four sisters, Mrs. Eunice Cooper, of Mt. Vernon; Mrs. C. F. Blackston, of Vidalia; Mrs. Martin Miller, of Dublin; and Mrs. Mary Hearn, of Florida; and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
