                               Eann Jane Hanson
 SOPERTON --- Services for Eann Jane (E. J.) Hanson, 82, were held at 3pm 
Wednesday in the chapel of Sammons Funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Wren 
and the Rev. J. M. Carter officiating and burial in Harmony Baptist Church 
Cemetery.
 A lefelong resident of Soperton, Mrs. Hanson was the daughter of the late 
Simmie D. and Minnie Lee Kight Durden, was retired from Soperton Manufacturing 
Company, and a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She died Monday afternoon at 
her home.
 Survivors include her husband, Leon Carl Hanson; a son, S. D. Hanson; four 
grandchildren, Arnie Hanson, Tim Hanson, Brad Hanson, and Vickie Phillips; and 
a great-grandchild, Victoria Phillips, all of Soperton.
 Mrs. Hanson's grandsons and nephews, Arnie Hanson, Tim Hanson, Brad Hanson, 
Keith Phillips, Kenneth Hanson, and David Hanson, served as pallbearers.
 Sammons Funeral Home of Soperton had charge of arrangements.
