                      Mrs. Jewell  D. Hutcheson
 Mrs. Jewell D. Hutcheson, 58, of Soperton, died in a Swainsboro hospital 
Friday afternoon, May 27, 1988, after a long illness.
 Mrs. Hutcheson was a native of Treutlen County and was a daughter of the late 
Willie McGahee and the late Mrs. Becky Brantley NcGahee. She was a retired 
employee of Oxford Manufacturing Company and was a member of Zaidee Christian 
Church.
 Survivors include her husband, Ray Hutcheson; a son, Donald Hutcheson, 
Soperton; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Lou Edge of Vidalia and Mrs. Pauline 
Hutcheson of Adrian; a brother, James R. McGahee of Vidalia; and three 
grandchildren.
 Services were held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 3 o'clock Sunday 
afternoon, May 29, with the Rev. Aaron Reaves officiating. Burial was in the 
Hutcheson Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Leroy Kersey, Murray Barwick, Danny Foskey, J. W. McGahee, 
Gene Stewart, and Charles Hutcheson.
