                            Gladys Toler Keen
 Mrs. Gladys Toler Keen, 80, of Soperton, died in a Treutlen County nursing 
home Saturday morning, December 24th.
 Mrs. Keen was a native of Soperton and was a daughter of the late Matthew 
Toler and the late Mrs. Vallie Reese Toler. She was married to the late 
Charlie Tillman Keen. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church near Soperton.
 Survivors include a son, Phil Keen of Lizella; 3 daughters, Mrs. Carol 
Obenauf and Mrs. Margie Gordon of Lizella and Mrs. Glenda Moseley of Macon; 4 
sisters, Mrs. Inez Peebles of Swainsboro, Mrs. Pauline Armstrong of Macon, 
Mrs. Jerry Hall of Soperton, and Mrs. Christine Barnhill of Dublin; a brother, 
Freddie Toler of Soperton; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
 Services were held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home in Soperton at 4 
o'clock Monday afternoon, December 26. Burial was in Westview Cemetery, 
Soperton. The Rev. Kenneth Wren and the Rev. David Mosley officiated.
 Grandsons served as pallbearers.
