                             Horace McDaniel
 Horace McDaniel, 81, of Monticello, died Nov. 18, 1995, at John D. Archbold 
Memorial Hospital, Thomasville, Ga.
 He was born June 24, 1914 in Soperton, Ga. and moved to Monticello from Vero 
Beach in 1990.
 Mr. McDaniel was a fruit laborer in a citrus packinghouse in Vero Beach and 
was a member of Rockledge Baptist Church, Dublin, Ga.
 Surviving are three sons, Edgar McDaniel, Vero Beach, the Rev. Erwin 
McDaniel, Fort Pierce, and James McDaniel, Monticello; two daughters, Betty 
Jean Driggers, Monticello and Bessie Wilson, Lake City; a brother, Jim 
McDaniel, Soperton; two sisters, Julie Mae Johnson and Viola Wilkins, both of 
Soperton; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
 A funeral was held at Beggs-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel, Monticello. 
Interment was held in Evergreen Cemetery, Greenville.
 

Additional Comments:
Horace was born to william Joseph McDaniel and Susan "Susie" Manerva Smith 
McDaniel. Georgia death certificate #048626. His wife, Dallie G. Stewart 
McDaniel is also buried at Evergreen Cemetery.
