Thursday, April 13, 1905

JOHN N. MILLER DEAD.

Mr. John N. Miller, of the Lothair community, died on Monday and his remains 
were laid to rest on Tuesday. Mr. Miller was one of the oldest citizens of 
Montgomery County, being about 80 years of age. He was well known in this 
section of the state, having held office in this county, and having a large 
circle of relatives and friends.

Compiler Notes: Dottie Gilder, (Find A Grave) transferred John N. Miller to me 
so I could update information on him.  I have not alter the date of his birth 
or date of his death as it could have been as entered as shown on the grave. I 
did list his place of birth and death.

Please read what I have entered as it is based on facts submitted: See below:

Compiler Notes: Using a 1905 Calendar and looking at the day ( Monday ) The 10 
of April would have fallen on Monday. So we can say he died on Monday, April 
10, 1905 and was buried the following day Tuesday, April 11, 1905. His grave 
has been marked wrong. Ref: this paper. Also Note: He was a Confederate 
Soldier having enter service 4 March 1862 in Montgomery County Georgia. In the 
Pension Application 1903 Montgomery, Georgia his Unit was stated as CO "E" 4th 
Calvary. In this application he stated he was born Oct 1829 in Laurens county, 
Georgia
