Services were held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with the Rev. C. M. Butler officiating. Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Grandsons Gary Mimbs, Douglas Durden, Jerry Carter, Jimmy Hutcheson, Larry Mimbs, and Hanion Johnson served as pallbearers. Mr. Mimbs was born and reared in Johnson County, a son of the late Ash Mimbs and Mrs. Della Foskey Mimbs. He was a farmer and had lived in Treutlen County for 40 years. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Lessie Price; five sons, Rev. Leo Mimbs of Soperton, Woodrow Mimbs of Norristown, Parky Mimbs of Norristown, Manning Mimbs of Adrian, and Elzira Mimbs of Lyons; three daughters, Mrs. Valarie Heady of Aiken, SC, Mrs. Deiie Mae Johnson of Atlanta, and Mrs. Ella Jean Carter of Soperton; one sister, Mrs. Rosa Foskey of Adrian; one brother, Clayton Mimbs of Adrian. Additional Comments: Felder was born 2-20-1895 to Ashley H. Mimbs and Mrs Idella Foskey Mimbs. His wife, Lessie Price Mimbs is also buried at Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
