                          Hilton L. Peebles
 Hilton L. Peebles, Route 1 Soperton, died in a Twin City Nursing Home Friday 
morning, April 17, 1998.
 Mr. Peebles was a native of Treutlen County and was a son of the late Mrs. 
Beulah Foskey Peebles. He was a plumber and a member of Thigpen Chapel Church 
at Norristown. He served in the Army during the Viet-Nam War.
 Survivors include his father, Thomas A. Peebles Sr. of Soperton; two 
brothers, Tommy and Jack W. Peebles, both of Soperton.
 Services were conducted in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home in Soperton at 
3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, April 19th with the Rev. Felton Johnson 
officiating. Burial was in Thigpen Chapel Church Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Clayton Tanner, Jimmy Maerson, Mike Peebles, Michael 
Anderson, Wayne Sumner, and Rocky Dennis.
 Kennon Peeebles and Norman Miller served as honorary pallbearers.

Hilton was born 2-9-1944.
