Perkins BYRON -- Services for Wilma Kate Sammons Perkins will be at 2pm Friday in Hart's Mortuary with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Perkins, 72, died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was a member of the Church of God and attended Georgia Southwestern College. She was a homemaker and was retired from Packaging Corp. of America. Survivors include: husband, Charlie W. Perkins; children, Danny Perkins of Macon, Jane Hester of Jeffersonville, Karey Byrd of Lake Sinclair, and Shirley Teters of Sycamore, Ohio; brothers and sisters, Roscoe Sammons, Cooledge Sammons, Hugh Sammons, Ronald Sammons, and Groyt Sammons, all of Soperton, Herbert Hall of Adrian, Dot Holton and Grace Johnson, both of Alpharetta, and Mose Tedrick, Flossy Johnson, and Jewel Meeks, all of Florida; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 tonight in the funeral home.
