                             Jerry H. Phillips
 Jerry H. Phillips, 27, Soperton, was dead on arrival at the Treutlen County 
Hospital Thursday night, Jan. 20.
 Mr. Phillips was a lifetime resident of Treutlen County and was a son of Mrs. 
Jimmie Burger Phillips of Deland, Fla. and the late Russell Phillips. He was a 
mechanic and a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church.
 Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Mrs. Gail Foskey 
Phillips; 2 daughters, Miss Tammy Phillips and Miss Sheila Phillips, Soperton; 
1 sister, Mrs. Billy Collier, Columbus; 2 brothers, Tyrone Phillips, Orange 
Park, Fla. and Phillip Phillips, McCoy Air Force Base, Orlando, Fla.
 Funeral services were conducted from Boiling Springs Baptist Church at 3 
o'clock Sunday afternoon, Jan. 23, with the Rev. Reeves Hoyle officiating. 
Burial was in the church cemetery with Sammons Funeral Home in charge.
 Pallbearers were Bobby Nobles, Charlie Cooper, Joe Lumley Jr., Michael 
Rahaim, Larry Henry, and Troy Phillips.

Jerry was born 9-26-1944.
