W. Sammons, of near Soperton, which occurred at Dublin on Tuesday of last week. Mrs. Sammons had been in ill health for some time. A few weeks ago, she was taken to the Dublin Sanitarium where she underwent an operation in the hope that her health would be regained. She was a christian character, a dutiful wife, and a noble mother and will be sorely missed in the home circle where she had meant so much. Her church membership was with Hebron Holiness Baptist Church. The remains of Mrs. Sammons were interred at Harmony on Wednesday afternoon. She is survived by her husband, five daughters, and three sons. The News, together with their many friends extend sympathy to them in their bereavement. Additional Comments: Francis was born 9 Mar 1874 in Glascock County, Georgia. Georgia death certificate #26349-B. Her husband, George Washington "Crockett" Sammons is also buried there.
