Watts, 73, died Saturday at Meadows Memorial Hospital after a long illness. The native of Treutlen County lived in Vidalia for 20 years. He was a retired employee of Georgia Highway Department and a Baptist. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruby Watts of Vidalia; three sons, Manning and Charles Watts, both of Vidalia and Lamar Watts of Tampa, Fla.; four daughters, Mrs. Ann Fulford of Lyons, Mrs. Elon Grant of Swainsboro and Mrs. Barbara Lamb and Mrs. Linda Rewis, both of Vidalia; four brothers, Mander, Wilmer, and Herbert Watts, all of Soperton and Fonzo Watts of Savannah; two sisters, Mrs. Lutrelle Hall of Dublin and Mrs. Alene Bearden of Lyons; 17 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral: 3:30pm today at Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Home with burial in Rosemont Cemetery in Treutlen County. Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Home. Additional Comments: Manning was born 16 Sep 1916 to Eugene Jethro Watts and Missouri Ethel Foskey Watts. Georgia death certificate #050226. His wife was Ruby L.
