(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net September 17, 2011, 11:31 am The Macon Telegraph 7-22-1979 Mrs. Williamson WARNER ROBINS--- Mrs. Shellie Thompson Williamson, 76, of 302 Shirley Drive, died Friday night after a lengthy illness in a local hospital. Services will be held at 2pm Sunday in Grace Baptist Church. The Rev. Charlie Collins will officiate. Burial will be held in Westview Cemetery on Soperton. Mrs. Williamson, a native of Soperton, had lived in Warner Robins for the past 28 years and was a retired civil service employee. She was a member of the Warner Robins Senior Citizens Club and attended Grace Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Homer T. Williamson Jr. of Warner Robins; two daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Garnto of Perry and Mrs. Annizu Bacon of Warner Robins; a brother, Clifford Thompson of Soperton; six sisters, Mrs. Vera Warnock, Mrs. Pearl Coleman, Mrs. Lillian Sapp, and Mrs. Kate Barwick, all of Soperton, and Mrs. Ethel Thompson of Wrightsville and Mrs. Nell Joiner of Lyons; and five grandchildren. McCullough Funeral Home in Warner Robins has charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Shellie was born 30 Jan 1903 to Milledge Chestnut Thompson and Sallie Gay Thompson. Her husband, Homer T. Williamson Sr., is also buried at Westview Cemetery. Georgia death certificate #023901.
